Ordering TexToys

You can download and install TexToys without buying it - the download version is a fully working program, but it is restricted in two ways:

• it will only create very short exercises
• it cannot upload completed exercises to the hosting and result storage system at hotpotatoes.net

To remove these restrictions, you have to register the program and make a payment. When we receive your payment, we will send you a registration ID and code - you can enter these into the Register screens in the two programs, to enable theirfull capabilities.

You can order single-user licences and extra seats for TexToys using the "BUY" buttons shown below. These buttons add the items ordered to a "Shopping Basket" - to complete your purchase, click on the trolley icon at the top right, and you will see further instructions.

Please note that the prices above apply only to credit card orders placed online. If you need to pay by cheque or bank transfer, please contact us by email for exact pricing.

If you want to order more than one extra seat, just click the BUY button once for each seat you need. For more information about Education Site-Licences and using official school or college ordering systems, please see the Education Licensing page.

A full Textoys licence includes one year's free hosting at hotpotatoes.net. This account allows you to store up to 10 exercises, and to have up to 10 students registered in 2 classes. You can increase your allowance of exercises or students by purchasing our extra hosting package - see the hotpotatoes.net Help pages for full details.

If after one year you decide that you wish to continue using the hosting service, you will need to buy a subscription to hotpotatoes.net. Please see the hotpotatoes.net pages for details.

TexToys is registered with the UK Government's Curriculum Online scheme, and can be purchased using Electronic Learning Credits.
