What is hotpotatoes.net?

hotpotatoes.net is a hosting service for users of our TexToys program and for users of Hot Potatoes. Briefly, it does the following jobs:

• it is a web hosting server, where users of TexToys and Hot Potatoes can upload and publish materials they create with these programs;
• it is a Virtual Learning Environment, where teachers log in, and create student accounts which are protected by passwords. Access to material which the teacher uploads can be restricted, so that only authorised students can see it.
• it is a results system, which captures the scores achieved by students and stores these results so that the teacher can see and download them.
